First a mention for our volunteer Trudie who cycles a 30 mile round trip to help us on Fridays. Unfortunately today Trudie ‘Krame a Kropa’ on the first road ice of the winter , spilling her bike and herself in the most undignified manner across the posh parts of the Hadleigh countryside. However I am led to believe that both she and the frightened sheep are doing well and she hopes to be back in action next week.
A special thanks this week to support workers Myra and Ronnie…….who made Emma their client laugh nearly the whole way round in their efforts to sing Emma’s favourite song ‘Come on Eileen’ …..not quite the same as Dexys Midnight Runners but it was great fun, with the added bonus of keeping the wild geese and dogs well away.
And thanks to all for coming to BikeActive and sharing this fresh, lovely, day at Alton Water, Good turn out as usual
on yer bikes
